That sucks because that sketch was supposed to be continued!  Now they'll probably never do it and we'll never know what happened between Charlie Murphy and Rick James!  :'(

What I was stating was that that was the official cause of death.

BTW not all people who have heart attacks were drug users.

Sorry! I wasn't aiming it at you! I was being sarcastic about it in general. All I remember about the guy is his drug problems, arrests and that incident w/ the girl in the 80's. I think even if he was straight these last few years the damage the drugs did to his health contributed to his death. But I could be wrong. Who knows.
