Sir George Martin will be inducted into the UK Hall Of Fame this year, according to reports.
The legendary Beatles producer is to receive honorary membership to the music pantheon, when the new series of inductees are announced later in the year.
Martin, who was instrumental in assisting The Beatles to become the biggest band in the world, will join founder Chris Blackwell and John Peel as the honorary members.
In the last two years, The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Bob Marley, Elvis Presley and The Kinks have all joined the Hall Of Fame, which mirrors the long established US version.
The inductees will be decided this year by the UK Music Hall Of Fame, which is made up of around 80 artists, music journalists, broadcasters and music industry executives.
