Haha, I never knew there were three versions. Thanks for sharing that. It appears that version III was used as a base for version I. Never liked version II so much to be honest. It's nice to see some kind of a little story AND to see George play and having fun with the band. That leaves version I to be my favorite.

I'd go for version 1. It's got that wonderful cheesy 80s music video look to it.

Although George does some great dancing in Version 2.  ;D

I went with version 2 as that's what I'm familiar with, but version 1 has me hooked now.  Who is that blonde?  Nobody seems to know.

I also voted for Version II.  It had the most airplay.  It's hard to believe thirty years have past!  I still see things moving in the video I haven't noticed before.  And I like George's facial expressions, especially when the money comes shooting out of the drawer.  It looked like he was having fun filming the video.

I guess we'll never know who the blonde was.  It was Alexis Denisof's first job.  I guess the girl was an unknown too and stayed that way.  It's a cute video and told a nice story.

Here he talks about the video shoot in an IGN interview:

IGNFF: What was your first professional work outside of school?

DENISOF: I think my first job was a George Harrison video, for a song called "I've Got My Mind Set on You." I was thrilled. I think I got paid $500. A little story about a young guy in an old-fashioned pinball arcade playing a game to win a fuzzy toy so he can give it to the girl that he has his eye on. We shot it in sort of one long day in a warehouse in London, and I just couldn't have been more excited. Suddenly it was for real. I wasn't in a classroom experimenting anymore &#Array; this was it. It wasn't a Steven Spielberg movie, but to me it was. They're shouting action and cut, and I had a certain few seconds between the two in which I had to do the right thing. That's what it's all about. I was very excited.

IGNFF: Any George sighting that day?

DENISOF: Well, that was sort of my main thrill about getting the job, not only that it was my first paying job, but yeah, I was hoping to meet him. It turned out the band had shot their stuff weeks in advance somewhere else. Yeah, I never met him. So the closest I ever got to him was in the finished cut video.

I like how George gave that little wave at the end of the Version III video...

I miss him a lot.

Was there a specific reason why more than one video was made.

There was almost an additional video.  According to Alan Clayson in The Quiet One: A Life of George Harrison, the first video was to include Paul McCartney but he backed out of an agreement to appear in a couple of videos for singles off the Cloud Nine album.
