I heard on the radio today that the movie Yellow Submarine will be made into a children's animated book. It will be translated into several languages and will hit stores this September. I think it's cool that they are reaching a younger generation in several languages. Looking forward to it. I have not heard any details regarding price, etc....I also heard that Let It Be will be in stores just in time for Christmas. I know what I want this year.

I'm kind of surprised Yellow Submarine wasn't made into a children's book back in 68 when the Beatles classic cartoon movie was released since my parent's probably would have gotten at the time. I hope some of my fellow Beatles fans take a second look at Let It Be when it's released on DVD instead of criticizing it because it shows them breaking up because it's my favorite Beatles movie which I saw for the first time about 12 years ago on bootleg video.

I hope that LET IT BE contains lots of extra goodies. Maybe a 2-DVD set, with the commercially released 1970 movie on one, and lots of extras on the other. I'm thinking of the complete rooftop concert, for a start!
Since it hasn't been commercially available for so long, many fans are likely to be disappointed. I think the film is a bit of a drag. Paul seems to feature far too much: he might not grab more time, but his seems to be "quality time", if you follow what I mean. That, of course, is not Paul's fault ... the blame lies with the editors/director. Bootlegs show that there was much group discussion about many issues. The flavor of these discussions seems quite wrong in the film.
But whatever is done, Apple will screw it up [say I, hoping that I'm wrong].

^That's great, I love introducing the "younger generation" to the Beatles. Even though I'm part of another "younger generation" myself, LOL.
