I am the walrus - I saw here standing there: 1-0 for Lennon
Strawberry Fields forever - Can't buy me love: 2-0
In my life - Yesterday: 3-0
Tomorrow never knows - Got to get you into my life: 3-1
You've got to hide your love away - She's leaving home: 3-2 (veeeeeery close)
All you need is love - Get back: 3-3
Come together - Let it be: 3-4 (CT might be Lennon's, but what makes it so cool is McCartney's bassline)
Across the universe - Penny Lane: 4-5 (they both get points here cause I really can't choose)
Ticket to ride - Paperback writer: 4-6
Twist and shout - Medley: 4-6... no points cause Lennon cheated... Twist & shout is not his.

LoL, the song vs. song thing is nice, but there's a lot of song vs. song things that aren't similar songs.  Come Together vs. Let It Be?  :P

Lennon Collection...only for the fact that it has three of my top 20 Beatles songs in it

whereas the McCartney Collection has only one (paperback Writer)

I'd take the Lennon collection.  There's a lot of substance there people.  (And that's coming from a McCartney fan...hell I even stood in for him during the 60's!)  LOL
