Something to do Oct.9th

I saw an advertisement for an exhibit of Lennon's drawings that's going to be held in New York the weekend of Lennon's birthday, I think the 7-10th of Oct.

It's at a gallery somewhere between Prince and Canal if you're looking to go. Sorry I don't have the complete details. But I think it's free except they're asking for a $2 donation at the door for some charity. And they'll be selling some of the work ,too.

I'll try to look up exact information...

Okay, I should've done this in the first place, but believe it or not it took me some time to find info. about it since I forgot the name of the charity.

Details:

The exhibit, "When I'm 64." is for the benefit of Adopt-a-Classroom Charity (and Lennon fans).
It's going to be held Oct.7-10, 2004 at 102 Wooster St., Soho, (b/w Prince and Spring).
Times are- Thurs. 5-9, Fri. 12-9, Sat.11-7, and Sun.11-6.

It is free,but they are asking for a donation of $2 at the door. You can also buy some of his work, I think.

How nice! Pity I'm so far away from New York. I suppose we'll do something here in Spain too.

Wow, Spain! That's awesome.
It's nice to meet so many people from around the world here.

I always think I would like to do something for John's birthday, but this is really the first thing that's come up that's given me an official opportunity.

Just a little something to say.

I had a couple of friends who I think it was in 1981 (MIGHT have been 1982) went to the Dakota and shouted up 'Happy Birthday Sean' and Yoko sent them down some Birthday cake!
