My favorite from these songs are Wonderful Christmas Time because I really like the way it sounds and it reminds me of Christmas.I also really love Happy Xmas (War Is Over) because I think it's really pretty and I really like the way that John and Yoko's voices sound in it.Overall it's just a beautiful song.Which one do you like better?

nimrod

Much prefer the Lennon one myself, I think Pauls is quite poor

KelMar

I think John's contribution to the holiday season is better too.

My vote goes to "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" -- not only do I simply like the song better, but I can never get that darn refrain from "Wonderful Christmastime" out of my head!!!

(arrrrrgggggghhhhhhhh.............)  ;)

I had a desktop theme that played that line with "simply having a" ahead of it when my computer booted up and I had to get rid of it for that very reason!

Hello Goodbye

They're both nice songs.  I like Wonderful Christmas Time just a bit better.
I can stay till it's time to go

They ARE both very good I think, but I do prefer John & Yoko's "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)".

Think what you like but I even like George's New Year "Ding Dong Ding Dong" from the very end of '74 :o ;)

But I must admit I struggle with Ringo's "I Wanna Be Santa Claus"  ;sorry

I must have missed that one. Guess I'll have to look for it to see what you mean....maybe?  ;D

I choose Happy Xmas because of the meaning and the beautiful melody  ;yes plus I always listen to it every Christmas with my favorite aunt, she's an old hippie and loves John  ;D
Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.

I voted for "Wonderful Christmas", but I think they're both good songs. I also like The Beatles' "Chrstmas Time (Is Here Again)".
