No, it is not out on DVD (I'm in Canada).
Yes, it has been officially released on VHS (in hi-fi stereo), the last time probably in the 80s. I should check my copy. I think I bought it new in the very early 90s.

I've heard in some radio programme that it will be released in 2006 (we're all waiting for Let It Be DVD, but Yoko...) but don't know if in DVD or simply 5.1.  :-/

Again, they should stop dallying and release all the remaining DVDs of Beatles movies, as well as another Anthology set. I've got Yellow Submarine and it's fantastic. Three additional storyboards left out of the original movie/video.

I have all the guys movies on DVD, check e-bay you'll find them on there occasionally.

The best line in the whole film: "The Boss" enters the wizards' laboratory and reveals.... "I spent half an hour looking for that sugar."

If you live in the U.S. then you should be able to find it at a circuit city. Thats where I got mine. The quality of the product isn't as great as Hard days night or Help!, but its still the official DVD nonetheless. So check circuit city, it won't hurt to check Best buy either.
