Abbey Road on the River Beatle tribute wants to land 'Yellow Submarine' premiere

Gary Jacob, producer of the Abbey Road on the River Beatles festival, says he's determined to have the U.S. premiere of the reissued "Yellow Submarine" make a big splash with festival attendees and have it on the big screen Memorial Day weekend. "I've made up my mind for the next days and weeks to use any resource I have to figure out a way to do the premiere of 'Yellow Submarine' at our event," he said on the phone Tuesday.The film is being reissued on DVD on May 29 in the U.S. and May 28 in the rest of the world. This year's AROTR in Louisville, KY., begins May 24 and ends one day before the DVD is released in the States.
