IMAGINE there's no hunger: John Lennon Art Exhibit returns to Southwest Florida
Yoko Ono speaks of her love’s upcoming show

Now in its third year in Naples, Southwest Floridians will have a chance to browse and even take home a piece of the Artwork of John Lennon collection, coming to Fifth Avenue South, at the Inn on Fifth, Friday to Saturday, March 9 to 11. During that time, art show guests may view the extensive, more-than-2,000-piece collection that has traveled thousands of miles across the country, spreading joy and love to all who have a chance to view it.For the last 20 years, Yoko Ono and Legacy Fine Art and Productions have brought this exhibit across the country as a way to honor his memory and celebrate his messages of peace, love and truth.

Yoko Ono subject at art history symposium

Dr. Kevin Concannon of Virginia Tech's School of Visual Arts will deliver the keynote address, "War is Over If You Want It: John & Yoko's Year of Peace," tomorrow night at the University of Central Arkansas for its 22nd Arkansas College Art History Symposium. He'll talk at 7:30 p.m. in the Art Lecture Hall of McCastlain, on the UCA campus.Concannon, whose scholarship focuses particularly on the work of Yoko Ono, will give another lecture, at 4:30 p.m. Friday, "Yoko Ono's Touch Piece: A Work in Multiple Media, 1960-2008." His talk will come after the presentation of student papers that begins at 8:30 a.m. Friday.
