Title: The Beatles and subways
Post by: Sebastian on February 01, 2012, 12:26:06 PM
While in London a few days back i thought of this. I haven't read a single line involving The Beatles traveling by subway in London. I mean, before October 1963 it would have been possible? Was it always cars? This is really a worthless thread, but i can't get it off my mind.

Don't know about travelling on the Underground, but Macca did a bit of busking there (he was probably down to his last few hundred million quid and needed the money  ;D )

I'm sure I do recall reading something about Paul travelling on "the tube" and he said he managed to get away with it because no-one could believe that the REAL Paul McCartney would travel on the underground.
Wish I could remember where I'd read it though ...
