I would love to get a boat, although I know almost literally nothing about them. (Well, I can rattle off some specs about classic ocean liners, but as far as practical knowledge goes: Zilch.) We live right near the Missouri River, and tons of people have all sorts of craft. My kids and I always joke that we'd love to get a pontoon boat and just float it at the pier so we can hang out in the sun, listen to music, etc.   ;D

Yeah, they make clothing that blocks UV rays. It's less heavy than wearing regular long sleeves and pants. I can douse myself with sunscreen and I still burn.

My daughters like that. She's ended up in the hospital twice for sun poisoning!!!

But indeed, back to the boats (or in this case, ships): Was just browsing the Cunard site. A transatlantic trip on the Queen Mary 2 -- now that'd be something I'd really love to try. It actually looks like a real ship, not a stack of pizza boxes.
