Lennon 'terrified his son'
« on: October 02, 2005, 03:29:23 PM »

Peace-loving former Beatle John Lennon was an erratic and violent parent, according to his first wife, Cynthia.

The 66-year-old claims their son Julian was left mentally scarred by Lennon's neglect and unreasonable behaviour.

She believes one incident in particular traumatised him so much he has rarely laughed since for fear of reprisals.

She says: "The whole family had been fooling around when Julian giggled.

"John turned on him and screamed: 'I can't stand the way you f**king laugh! Never let me hear your f**king horrible laugh again.'

"Julian fled to his room in tears."

I heard that too, about Julian's laughing.

Hmm, John hasn't been getting much postive press lately, has he?

looks like the prasing of the dead singer is now over and people now realize what a dick he was in private. but then again, he was also a young confused guy at that point who probably suffered from his depression at that point. i havent heard anything about anything bad he did to sean.

On one of his infrequent invites to the Dakota, he kind of laughed nervously when John and Yoko were walking around naked, and that's probably when he got the tongue lashing. I can't blame him, seeing Yoko naked first thing in the morning would make me uneasy.

Julian probably laughed to hide the scream that was coming shortly there after.
