My favourite rock vocals...John and Paul, of course. And Freddie Mercury had an awesome voice. I <33333 George's voice on "Something", "Here Comes the Sun", "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" and "For You Blue".

i love those too! sometimes george sounds ALOT like john though, i never knew it was him in "im happy just to dance with you" until recently!

I disagree.
Reason, It's too hard to compare voices that are all goo yet in completely different ways. I think that George Paul, and John are each great vocalists and i would rather enjoy them then compare them.

I don't think none of the beatles Is the best in any aspect. The four of them made the best band ever, but individually the ain't the best. You seriosly think that John had a better voice than Elvis? for example. He is definetely not the best rock vocal ever, though I like his voice very much.

Why do you keep defending Best?, he really sucks. Ringo Rules! If Pete were a better drummer they would've never replaced him, and if they didn't had Ringo I'm sure they'll be just another "one hit" 60's band

John,Paul,and George had the best voices ever,especially when they harmonized on songs like "This Boy" or "Because". They all had great individual voices,but when they complimented each other it made it even better.

This "who is the better vocalist" is a popular topic around the Beatles forums right now.

Sadly, it develops too often into Paul vs John battles. And I blame the Paul fans here. Many (not all) Paul supporters cannot take any criticism of their hero. And this angle is no exception. They say, Paul had a stronger voice, greater range, more sensitive, yadda yadda.

I say to them, go listen to a whole Beatles album: any will do. (cept AHDN, where Lennon dominates too much). Then, look as honestly as you can, deep into your heart ... and don't you agree:

A) Paul is a very good singer ...

but...

B) John sent shivers up your spine.

If GREAT rock singing means anything, then John Lennon HAS to be THE man.

 Yeah, but "A Hard Day's Night" or "Something New" in the states are my favorites because of the Lennon dominated vocals. I also though "money" was another of John's better performances.

Lennon certainly has the ultimate spine-chill factor...Macca's got the roar and pretty sensitivity. They both got soul. I always stay un-decided in these votes....'It dos'nt matter much to me.' :)
