You may have seen this in Mark Lewisohn's book by now but for anyone who hasn't and wonders what the heck is up with that it was taken at Butlin's holiday camp in Pwllheli, North Wales in 1961. The band Ringo was with at the time, Rory Storm and the Hurricanes was there for their second summer residency and that's his band mate known as Johnny Guitar. Who knows what lead to that pose though!
