You make out with your pictures of the Beatle of your choice.

You pretend you are married with one of the Beatles

The Hofner bass waas the reason that I learned to play the bass. Not just because Paul himsaelf played it, though. Everytime I start saving up, I blow it cause it really is so expensive. heck, I want that bass so much that I just go to ebay or http://www.edroman.com just to look at the bass.  And every time I get a chance to play one, I feel like I'm high. I don't know what it is that I like about that bass though, I just think it's a cool bass.

-you eat your pizza crust first, just like Ringo

ARE YOU SERIOUS??? Ringo ate his pizza crust first? That is awesome! I've been eating pizza crust first for ages now, and people just think I'm weird because of it. Really, I had no idea that Ringo ate pizza crust first! That makes me feel so good to know that I have something in common with a Beatle...
WOW! That's just amazing! Whenever I pizza now, I'm gonna think of Ringo now, that we have something in common.

PS. Actually, I have this weird way of waving, where I just straighten out my arm and hand and raise it at whoever I'm waving at. I just started doing it one day. It was how I waved to the car that dropped me off at school. I do it all of the time, and last year, I even went up on assembly (coz, out of the people that were called up, I was the only one there), and I heiled all the people watching the assembly as I went back down. I could never understand why I did it, or where I got the idea to do it from. I always thought I did it just to rip off Hitler. But, when I was watching A Hard Day's Night one day (for the second time), I saw the scene where Paul's Grandfather is talking to Ringo in the diner, I watched as, when Ringo left the diner to "live", he waved at Paul's grandfather with outstretched arm, in swift motion, just like I do. I was so excited when I saw that! I was all like "That's where I got it from! Ringo! Ringo!" And I didn't even remember why I did it all the time! I just saw AHD'sN one day, and must have seen the wave and subconsciously convinced myself to wave like Ringo. But I never realised it before!

Yeah, I always ate my pizza that way, but when I heard that Ringo did that Pizza Hut commercial I made a point of that.

PS. That waving story is so weird. I've done things like that before. Sometimes I start singing Beatles songs subconsciously, without knowing it.

You say "How do you reckon that one out?" (George from AHDN) and people look at you like you're nuts.

Your first grade students start printing out pictures of the Beatles at home and bring them in for you to hang up. That and having 90% of the birthday cards they made you have something to do with the Beatles. One I opened up didn't say happy birthday or anyting, just: BEATLES! Not even a signature!

Ha! Cool. We're having our talent show this Friday, but I have nothing to do with what they do. But one of the parents from last year told me her kid and some of my other ex-students are gonna dress up in little suits like the Beatles early days and do a Hard Day's Night! Bummer that I can't see it though!! The whole school learned We Can Work It Out for the winter show though. Our music teacher is a Beatles nut too. One time one of my students saw a picture of Bob Dylan and George in her room and said Look, it's John and Paul! They still have a hard time picking them out in their later years. All that hair you know.

Just a question - does the US have any openly gay artists a la Elton John, or TV presenters like Graham Norton?

Thats a good question. The only openly gay celebs I know of in the US are Ellen Degeneres, Rosie O'Donnell, and Michael Stripe. I'm sure there are many more, but i've never really thought about it before.
