I spotted this many moons ago, and I'm sure many others have (I just wasn't a member of this board at that time), but in Bowie's song "Young Americans," he uses the line from A Day In The Life, "I read the news today oh boy"... It really fits in the song and I think it's a beautiful tribute-ish thing...
Now I know Lennon and Bowie had a friendship (i guess) and they wrote "Fame" together, I guess during the Lost Weekend... But did they write that song together?
And did they write more together? I'd like to hear them..

Bowie covered Across The Universe before tho, if that helps

Fame is the only song John & David Bowie wrote together but Lennon plays on Bowie's version of Across The Universe.
