Does anyone know where Tommy McGuirk is these days ? Last spoke to him back in 1964 after the terrible Cavern session with the Pete Best All-stars. Pete's drumming was appalling....going either too fast or too slow or a combo of both. Tommy came back to my mothers house in Chirkdale Street in Kirkdale with Pete,who was not a happy man. Pete, as usual. sat glumly by the fire saying nothing to any one. Tommy left the group soon after.
Tommy was a nice guy.
