I went to a vinyl fair and among many other things, I managed to snag an original White Album for £18! It didn't have the pictures and posters with it (I saw one that did, but it was too expensive) but the records are in great shape, and it's definitely an original. The cover's tangibly old, and it's got a number stamp like the originals did... *excited* xxx

I'm afraid my White Album doesn't say whether it's mono or stereo, but listening to it now, I'd say it was good old mono. And the number stamp reads "No. 163990". The Beatles logo is properly embossed too, not printed... I'm very happy! And it plays like a dream too. xxx

It plays spectacularly for a record that's obviously been passed around between god knows how many people for that long.
Hottest Hits? Is that a Swedish release?
Hmm...don't know actually, could be. Oh! I went to check and it says Made in Denmark by Skandinavisk Grammophon Aktieselskab ^^ so I'm guessing that's a yes, haha
Could you post a picture of it? Plus the record label. Would be nice.
