Confessions
« on: November 27, 2014, 01:37:06 AM »

I stole this idea from another site.

Post a musical like or dislike or guilty pleasure that you might not be proud of.  Or you could be proud of it and not care what anyone thinks.  But have fun with this!  And don't make a comment that someone is wrong for liking or not liking something.  Baring one soul's is difficult enough!   ;)

Here's one of mine.

I love The Donnas. There, I said it and I'm glad.

Haha.  Great thread.

I think See My Baby Jive by Wizzard probably counts as a guilty pleasure of mine.

All girl band; a song called Take it Off. Have to say the video clip was a bit of a letdown.  ;)

I like Led Zeppelin's acoustic stuff more than their heavy stuff.  Side 2 of Led Zeppelin III is awesome.

Who cares if it's Bubblegum?!  That was the first song I played when I plugged into an amp that had vibrato.

Oh dear.

This is the very song that popped into my head when I read your original post! I like the harmonies and it makes me laugh because it was on the radio all the time during the summer I turned 13. My cousin and I would sing along with it in the car, then later wonder if my aunt and uncle knew what it meant. Meanwhile, they were wondering if we knew. We thought we did.:)

I haven't seen that yet! My daughter bought a copy, so I'll have to watch it.

My (holiday-related) confession is that I still watch the Rankin-Bass "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" every year.

I just watched it the other night! It's nice to have something that makes you feel like you did when you were a kid.

Each year we enjoy four classics we regard as musts:

'White Christmas'
'It's A Wonderful Life'
'Meet Me In St. Louis'
'A Christmas Story'

'White Christmas' - or, as I refer to it, 'The Vera Ellen Show' - was last night.
