When I Get Home (song?)

Not many people ever bring this song up when talking about the "early" Beatle works, but I think it's one of their "best"! John's vocals are stunning and the whole building of the song sounds like an old style 50s tune that just rocks out! It never gets its dues in my opinion!

I happen to LOVE the Beatles' early work and believe it's as important as anything else they recorded.

When I Get Home is a great 'filler' track - John Lennon was very prolific around this time.

My favorite part of the song. :) It's pretty damn good, and deserves just as much attention as any other.

"The End" filler? filler? I hope you don't mean that as in just threw it in there because they couldn't write a better song??? This shows the Beatles true writing ability by making a song that sounds like a 50s tune and bending it to suit "John's" voice and the whole Ringo's drumming on this song. The intro is nothing short of stunning! try listening to this song on a loud volume and I think the word filler should be adjusted to "killer"!

Goodness me no! I thinks it's a great track from one of my all-time favourite albums! I simply meant it's one of those tracks that is regarded as 'filler' - hence the quotation. :)

Yea sorry filler has a completley different meaning where I live! Means useless, not important, a throw away! I didn't think you meant that!!!!!!!!!!

AHDN is the first album I bought! I love "When I Get Home"...the whole album is great. ;)
