A Beatles fan has a permanent reminder of the moment he joined his idol Sir Paul McCartney on stage.Phil Blanchard met Sir Paul after standing on the front row, five yards from the star at his show the M.E.N. Arena last week.The music legend spotted his hat of baubles, tinsel and Christmas lights – and pulled him up onto the stage to sign his arm.Phil, 50, from Flixton, then took his devotion to Macca a step further than most – by having the signature tattooed into place.He has something of an ‘ink-fatuation’ with the Beatles – with 11 tattoos of McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr all over his body.
