I realize I haven't really been paying attention to the forums lately. (I realize none of you really care, most of the regulars threw a party b/c of my absance) sorry been in a bit of a rut and havent even listened to the beatles in more then a month. so ive been down in the dumps lately, got bored out of my mind, and turned on revolver. after listening to it and relaxing, i was happy as a clam. completely forgot about my gf and i breaking up and bad grades. the beatles can cure the blues. turn on Tomorrow Never Knows and listen to the first few lines and boom, you feel immediately relaxed.

Absolutely, I agree - the Beatles can, if not cure the blues, then certainly diminish them somewhat. I've had so much on my mind, but just escaping into Beatles music is a kind of instant relief for sure.

Even when they sing I'm A Loser, I'm Down or lines like:
Yes I'm lonely wanna die
Yes I'm lonely wanna die
If I ain't dead already
...
The eagle picks my eye
The worm he licks my bone
I feel so suicidal
...
Black cloud crossed my mind
Blue mist round my soul
Feel so suicidal
...
