The ex-Beatle married The Spy Who Loved Me star Bach in April 1981, less than six months after John Lennon was shot dead.
It was Bach's second marriage - she separated from her first husband, an Italian businessman called Augusto Gregorini, in 1975.
Also pictured are Sir Paul McCartney and his first wife Linda and George Harrison and his second wife, Mexican-born Olivia Trinidad Arias.
While Sir Paul remained married to Linda until her death from cancer in 1998, he went on to marry again.
The image, from the National Portrait Gallery, is currently at Museums Sheffield as part of the NPG's touring exhibition Family Album.
