Do you play a musical instrument? Yes, I guitar for two years. I'm not great, though.

If war is never the answer, then what should we have done to prevent another 6 million Jewish people from being exterminated? I mean, in this world, I think sometimes that's the only answer. Human nature and all. A bit naive to say never. I guess if we lived in Utopia or something then that'd be a good answer. Sad, but I think true.

I know what you mean, but it's only a temporary solution. To get rid of the problems in the world we should change the way people think. Pretty idealistic I guess.

Our job now is to tell people that there is still hope, it's not over because Flower Power didn't work...

OK, you've got a good point here, but in this case they were fighting to end a war that was already going on, which is a totally different thing than starting a war, which is NEVER OK.

Yeah, but reality is there will always be Hitlers, Stalins, Pol Pots, etc. in this world. And those kind of people rarely respond to anything BUT violence. We are only then protecting ourselves and those who cannot.

hey, does anyone find it amusing that we can declare war on a country that is essentially run by religion, when our own is run by a bunch of wacky christians.

or that just by mentioning socialism or communism in D.C. will get you more hate fans then wayne L on this or any boards. even though involving aspects of both into our less then steller government will actually help our populace as much as our Republican Democracy was SUPPOSED to do
