The latter is a so-called 'mash', a mix up between two songs from various bands. There are more examples like this.

Do you have any more examples?

All kind of mash-up's (as they are called) are to find here:

http://www.gohomeproductions.co.uk/mp3.html

Beatles' Mash up's here:

This is a mash between Dear Prudence, The Fool On The Hill and Queen's Crazy Little Thing Called Love:

And this one (don't let Heather hear this):
Paul McCartney and Jennifer Lopez in Christmas On The Block:

Finally: The Beatles feat. Belinda Carlisle with Daytrip To Heaven:

There's also a mash of The Beatles 'A Day In The Life' and Radiohead's Karma Police on the net, called 'A Karma In The Life' (I think). I will try to get that downloaded. Could be a nice title for a John song btw. Found out that there's also mash-ups available with Skeelo (I Wish I Was A Bulldog), The Cult (She Sells Tax, Man), Blur (Rich Girls And Boys) and Soulsearcher (Eleanor Can't Get Enough). I'll try to track them and post them here.

The mash between Dear Prudence, The Fool On The Hill and Queen's Crazy Little Thing Called Love is amazing, specially 1:30; 1:49 and from 2:02 till the end. Magic in the intro (0:12 - 0:18 ). :D

The Beatles meet Radiohead in this one: 'Karma In The Life'. Amazing how these two fit together.

I like this one that I've called Happy Chritmastime ... More Than A Feeling (Christmastime Is Here Again (The Guys) + More Than A Feeling (Boston) ... tho you can listen to some excerpts from John's Happy Xmas (War Is Over) too.) :

You can also find at that site:

NEW PRIMAL SCREAM 'KOWALSKI' - (GHP BOOTLEG BREAKS REMIX)
Primal Scream / The Beatles / Beyonce (5.05)

"I came up with the original idea for this, a couple of years ago. Only ever had the Beatles sample over a few bars of the Kowalski riff, with a thumping hip hop break just about holding it together...but wee scotsman
McSleazy had a GYBO Primal Scream challenge thing going down for his
XFM show, so I thought I'd give my idea a dust off.
The Sgt Pepper vox is now just used as an intro / midway diversion / hook kind of thing and I've double timed the Kowalski track for a breaks feel.
Bit of a dub / reaggae flavour for the breakdown.
Beyonce's vox were added at the last minute, to give it a bootleg vibe.
A Beyonce / Beatles-less version of this available upon request..."

I put 'Paperback Beliver' together what seems like aaages ago. Dec 2003 I think but people still keep asking me about it.
This version has been remastered.
It's Paperback Writer vocals with I'm A Believer backing, simple but effective...
The video that John Davies made for it can be veiwed as a quicktime mov here."
