Aha! Another vote for Fixing A Hole. Very overlooked song IMHO.

Since I first heard the album in 1967, Fixing A Hole has been my favorite track.  It's rather complex in its style.  I especially like the harpsichord intro and Paul's bass.  Great song!

Great song indeed. Probably my favourite Paul song of the period.

Sgt. Pepper's is often defined as a rock album but there are few rocks in it ... Getting Better is one example of the band making (soft) rock combining handclaps and harmonies like in their early times and albums ...

Getting Better it sounds somewhat as an Abbey Road LP track to me: 'clear' production and spice-alley guitars arrangements and harmonies tho drums are not in the vein of Abbey Road at all  ...

P.S. Fixing A Hole's guitar reminds me of some of the Abbey Road LP tracks too ...

You shouldn't!!! This track is one of the funniest ("lend me you ear"LOL) and best known of them ... I think that Joe Cocker's cover is the best cover ever done of one of their songs!!!

For me it's (not in any order by the way):
A Day in the Life,
She's Leaving Home (I agree with Kaleidoscope_Eyes... very sad, especially the bit when the mother finds the letter  :'()
With a Little Help From My Friends (such a sweet song  ;D)
