It seems like I remember hearing the Glasgow version on the radio more often than the studio version. I think it had the very end edited off though. I love watching the Letterman concert! The last time I watched a clip from it Paul was playing this guitar:

I guess it made an impression on me because I dreamed about it later. This is the only place where I will admit to having Beatle dreams. LOL

Personally, I like the studio version.  It's so quirky!!

This song was a big hit in the spring of 1980.  I was doing my residency training at the hospital.  I remember being on an elevator and stopping on a floor on the way up to the OR.  A couple of nurses got on and I asked them:  "Coming up?"  "Like a flower!" they answered in unison.    ;D
