Just thought I'd share that I've been turned on to a new (to me) series of books on the life of Lennon.  Author is in the midst of writing 9 (#9, #9) books chronicaling his life (3 of which are finished and out).  I'm only on the first one "Shoulda Been There," and it's quite long at just under 800 pages (covering 10/9/1940 to 12/11/1961) but I'm racing through it because it's SOOOOO good.  Eating it up with a spoon - author is very keen to make sure she has her facts right and it's written as if you're a fly on the wall.  Oh so good - I've read a TON of Beatle books and this, by far, is the best and makes you feel like you're along for the ride.  Author is Jude Southerland Kessler - if you've never heard of her, do yourself a favor and grab a copy!!  Here's a link to her site:
