It was a nice ending but John almost fell going down the stairs.

That's just part of the charm.  ;)

I do too. I actually liked the whole movie, in spite of some of the negative things I've read about it. I don't think it would help win a non-fan over but it was fun. I actually saw shades of Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory in it so maybe it managed to impressed Mel Stuart.

It's a fun movie and it was nice to see The Beatles in a more candid way than we had seen them in film before.

I'm sure he was influenced by it.

I like this part too...

Magical Mystery Tour Part Six

There were a lot of clues in Blue Jay Way.   ;D

When they are all piling into the tent it reminds me of the children's story "The Mitten". I love they way they all jump up and clap like they've just seen the most normal, mainstream performance.

Oh, don't get me started on that! I'll start reading about it and freak myself out again.  :o

I always liked this...

The Fool on the Hill

I do too.

I hope I'm not laughed at too much, but I always liked how Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66 covered The Fool On The Hill.  A little bossa nova here...

I won't laugh at you.  ;) I remember hearing this a time or two when I had XM radio. I like how they snuck Paul's face into that first video. He really did look like a fool.

 ;)

They covered a few Beatles songs but they did this one the nicest.  Lani Hall and Karen Philipp's voices sounded so sweet.

The Fool...

I've read that Paul liked how Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66 did his song too.

I watched the Concert for George last night. What a nice tribute. I was so impressed with Dhani. It must have been very tough emotionally for him to do this on the first anniversary of his dad's death. He played his heart out and looked so tired at the end. The way he leaned into Eric Clapton when Eric hugged him during the closing number was very touching.
