Doing it again is cheesy because you can't repeat Live Aid.

I think it's the same as with bands playing reunion shows... I'm always 100% for reunions and things like that. Cause you'll never get any closer to the real thing again, so just take what you can get. And if you don't like it, just ignore it, and everyone will be just fine.

They're not trying to repeat Live Aid though..........this is totally different and will actually make an impact..........Live Aid was cheesy and its whole goal was to raise money, which it barely ended up raising much of (the artists involved could've donated more than that)........judging by the list of names, this will undoubtedly be the largest gathering of high profile acts in history, but here's hoping that U2, Macca, and others don't play the exact same songs they did in the first edition.

I just can't believe Roger Waters and David Gilmour are going to be on the same stage together. I can't wait just to see THAT.

I hope they give them a decent amount of time on stage. Echoes is one of their more normal songs I think. I mean, if they did something like A Saucerful Of Secrets, or Astronomy Domine, then I could see them going What the f***??

good to see the scissor sisters got in there, wouldn't have been complete without them.  I still think the middle ten minutes of echoes, where the instruments really get weird, would give the crowd a bit of a hush, especially the ones watching on the jumbotrons.  I hope they play Dogs I've always loved that one.  I really hope they don't end up just playing Another Brick in the Wall and Money

I really cannot see them playing Another Brick. It's not the most loved song by the band. But wait, Bob Geldof is there! Maybe he can reprise his role as Pink during Comfortably Numb or something. Heh. (I'm kidding there) Anyway, I'd love to see them do Shine On or Time. Two of my favorites. They should just give them an hour and get rid of Mariah, Madonna, Snoop, and those Scissor people. I love how they have two Sirs on the bill. Can't they drop that for these kinds of things. Doesn't sound very rock and roll to me.

Okay, here's the latest. It was posted at a Pink Floyd forum. They are said to be rehearsing four songs for the show. Three of them are from Dark Side.

I hope they do Brain Damage/Eclipse as one of them,

For some reason my mind is going blank on the songs from Dark Side. And I don't feel like getting my CD. All I can think of is Money. Is Time on that one or Wish? Cuz I love Time. I want them to do that one too. And Shine On as the non Dark Side song.
