it's interesting to think that 1965 is a likable year. they go on about Revolver, but what about
Rubber Soul!! 65 was an amazing change in the beatles look & sound i think. :)

1967 is my favourite year of them.
But, 1964 was their most important year. They conquered the entire world!

It was before Spector lopped off the "All I want is..." bit. ;D

I agree, I like that part a lot!

It reminds me a bit of a slowed down "Yeah, yeah, yeah". Anyone compare the chord progressions on that by any chance?

I have been in a kick of wanting to hear their later stuff for a while now. I think that's their best stuff.

Considering how many love TWA, I'm surprised by how low 1968 came in the ratings!

haha, must be Yoko

I chose 1967 because I think it was their peak of originality. Seriously, if I give you a box filled with a thousand random 45s from the 1960's, I guarantee that NONE of them sound like I Am The Walrus, NONE of them sound like Mr. Kite.

When I hear the year 1967 mentioned anywhere, I think of the Beatles. A sportscaster could say something like "Well they haven't lost six consecutive games since 1967" and I'll think to myself "Oh yeah, Sgt. Pepper's." I wasn't born until 1983, but it doesn't even matter.
