Friday, October 9, 2015, will mark the observance of John Lennon's 75th birthday. Enoch's Irish Pub & Cafe in Monroe, LA has been hosting Lennon birthday celebrations for the last 35 years, and with this year being a milestone birthday for both John and his son, Sean Lennon (who is turning 40), there will be a special simulcast song with the celebration at the Hollywood Walk of Fame.Peace activist Jerry Rubin is hosting the event Friday at John's star on the Walk of Fame, along with legendary DJ and "Breakfast With The Beatles" host, Chris Carter. The celebrations, being linked by the magic of Facetime, will offer up simultaneous birthday songs, toasts to John and Sean, and a ceremonial cake cutting at 8:30 p.m. CT/6:30 p.m. PT.
