Really? Paul sounds cheerful on Eleanor Rigby, Yesterday or Let It Be???
I think one of Paul's strengths is his ability to deliver an ice cold vocal when other artists would be tempted to use a more emotionally wrought vocal. For No One is a prime example.Cheerful?

Hey. I agree with you. That's why I said it was a cliche. Didnt say it was accurate.

Just popped in to say that I was listening to this, and, I still like it. Go figure! Carry on!

Fantastic b-side as well, I mention it because I've just come across a Belgian picture sleeve of 'Another Day' on eBay with the song printed as 'Oh Woman Of Why'!

I've always rather wanted Paul to gather up all those fabulous b-sides he put out in the early 1970s on a CD.
'Oh Woman Oh Why', 'Little Woman Love', 'Country Dreamer', 'Give Ireland' (inst.), 'The Mess', 'Zoo Gang' etc., throwing in some of the out-takes from the early LPs like 'Suicide'.

Wasn't this what 'Cold Cuts' was going to do?
