Paul McCartney's music, with the Beatles and Wings, thrills Grand Rapids Symphony audience

GRAND RAPIDS – The Beatles, even before “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” gave up performing live.Paul McCartney disbanded Wings more than 30 years ago.But the fans haven’t forgotten songs such as “Yesterday.”Grand Rapids Symphony brought “The Music of Paul McCartney” to DeVos Performance Hall for an evening of songs such as “When I’m 64” that McCartney largely wrote for The Beatles, and “Jet” from his years with Wings.
