Wow! All of them! Whether he sang lead or harmony, he sounded great. After all, he was "the man of a thousand voices."
-
Blackbird, I Will and For No One
-
All My Loving... and a bunch more songs that I can't type, since I'm too lazy.
-
Yea I agree, he was a man of a thousand voices! He would make himself sound different in many songs, I love it! I love his voice in Oh! Darling, I Saw Her Standing There, Helter Skelter, Yesterday, Eleanor Rigby, back in the USSR, the list goes on and on!!
-
Golden Slumbers

I've just Seen a Face
Yesterday
Blackbird
Eleanor Rigby
I Saw Her Standing There
All My Loving
Can't Buy Me Love- Paul's part

Great list: for myself, I would add "Long Tall Sally" and "Things Said Today" for sure, and probably a few others I've just forgotten about for the moment. :)
-
RIGHT Long Tall Sally
-
There are so many! The guy had an amazing range.
Hey Jude (beautiful)
She's Leaving Home
You Never Give Me Your Money (love the ragtime bit)
She Came in Through the Bathroom Window
Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End (great show of range)
I Will
Kansas City/Hey-Hey-Hey-Hey! (love the scratchy vocals)
The Night Before (more scratchy vocals)
I've Just Seen a Face (his delivery is very cool, almost as fast as Dylan's in Subterranean Homesick blues!)
I've Got a Feeling
Helter Skelter
Penny Lane and Hello Goodbye (is his voice sped up in these at all?)
For No One
You Won't See Me
And his voice in Let It Be is just PERFECTION!!
And personally, the main reason I listen to The Ballad of John and Yoko is to hear McCartney's vocals at the end!
I also love his harmonies/backing or supporting vocals in Nowhere Man, Don't Let Me Down, Dig a Pony, and I'm Only Sleeping. His vocals make the songs that much better. ;D
There are so many more, but most have been listed. Sorry for the repetitions!
-
I can't choose songs where I think Paulie's voice sounds the best. He has a thousand voices! That means I'm gonna have to choose at least 1,000 songs.
But, I'm standing by what I said before, and I think he sounds amazing in All My Loving.
-
I was listening to P.S. I Love You today and realized that I enjoy Paul's voice on that track.
-
Long Tall Sally

Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End
-
I think the Night Before
-
He has a thousand voices! That means I'm gonna have to choose at least 1,000 songs.
That's what I think, too. Sometimes when I hear Paul screaming out a rocker, singing a twangy country-like song, and gently singing a ballad, and I think to myself...is this really the same guy? So versatile and enormously talented. Paul is amazing! ;)
-
yesterday
-
God, I can't even choose, his voice is so amazing, any song he sings on makes it better. He definitely had the best voice of the 4 of them. So versatile. Here's a couple though:
I've Just Seen A Face
Here, There, and Everywhere
If I Fell
I Don't Want To Spoil The Party (I know it's not his song, but the "Though tonight she's made me sad I still love her..." part he sings on is just amazing.
She's Leaving Home
Long Tall Sally
Blackbird
I Will
-
All the songs he sings!
i second that motion
-
I've always thought Honey Pie was very unique.
-

Helter Skelter
Here, There, and Everywhere
Got To Get You Into My Life (Idk why, i just do! lol)
Blackbird
Yesterday
Hello Goodbye
Hey Jude
The Long And Winding Road
And I Love Her
The Fool On The Hill
Michelle (mostly because he speaks french <3)
She's Leaving Home
Eleanor Rigby
Wow I named a lot. ;D getting the idea that I like Paul? (grin)
-
^ You could have saved yourself some typing by just saying - all of them! ;D
-
"Eleanor Rigby", his voice is very prominent.
-
My favorite Paul performances:
Can't Buy Me Love
Penny Lane
Blackbird
All My Loving
I Will
Getting Better
Lady Madonna
Long Tall Sally
His bit in A Day In the Life
She's a Woman
I'm Down
I love Paul's 'Little Richard' voice on the rockers. :)
I remember when I was just getting to recognise the Beatles' voices and I trying to figure out Lady Madonna. I thought to myself "Who sings that?!" It sounded so different than Paul's other songs on the CD ('1' sad beginning, I know...)
I love Paul's versatility.
-
^ You could have saved yourself some typing by just saying - all of them! ;D
Well, it's OK to specify songs and I would limit my choices to all of Paul's songs except those where the early "Varispeed" process was employed (eg. When I'm Sixty-four...The Pear Alternate Sgt Peppper album has this song in normal speed. Paul's voice is magnificent in that version!).
-
^ You could have saved yourself some typing by just saying - all of them! ;D
Yeah I could have.. lol
-
the introductary lines of sgt Pepper ............perfect ;)
-
Here There and Everywhere
Honey Pie
I Will (VOCAL BASS FTW!)
Eleanor Rigby
-
Well.... he sounds good on all of them ;D
But it seriously amazes me that the same person sang Yesterday, Hey Jude, And I Love Her, Rocky Raccoon, Lady Madonna, Why Don't We Do It In The Road?, and The End (plus so many others). The way he can make his voice sound completely different is ridiculously awesome.
-
Hey Jude
Here, There and Everywhere
Yesterday
And I Love Her
Let it Be
all of them!!!!
-
I've always like his voice on get back
-
Stepping just outside of the Beatles collective for a second....
