Let It Be – review

There is a good musical to be written about the Beatles, covering their artistic achievements as well as the internal friction that led to their breakup. Unfortunately, this is not it. Conceived by Beatles tribute band-turned-theatre company Rain, it simply offers an evening of faithfully executed Beatles hits.

Beatles show featuring original music opens in West End

For the first time, the surviving members of the Beatles have allowed a West End show to use their music, with approval from Sony. Let It Be opens on Monday and features She Loves You, Twist and Shout and Yesterday among others.
