It has to be at least 20 years since 'The Monkees' was on British television.
Strange, because if, say, BBC Four, put it out on a Friday night at 7 p.m., it would be bound to get a reasonable audience.

I listened to a Monkees town hall on my Sirius XM app the other night. I thought it was recent because all their other on-demand stuff is.  Silly me, it was last May. So they released a new album last year. Anyway, it was still fun to hear them all together. This is from the same time:

A song from that album, Me and Magdalena, came up on a Spotify play list. I didn't know it was the monkees. Just enjoyed it for what it was. Nice song.

I listened to Headquarters in the car the other day, but didn't encounter much spectacular stuff. It's probably me.

I love Headquarters. Along with PCA&J LTD it's my joint favourite.

I think the new album is great too.
