I figure many of the members here, like me, believe the Beatles are the best musical group ever. I'm curious what other groups you like? What do you listen to when you are not listening to the Beatles or their solo albums?

Im a fan of classic prog rock, ie the 70's stuff, bands like King Crimson, Moody Blues, early Genesis, Yes, ELP, Jethro Tull etc etc
Last count I have 1150 prog rock albums, I also like many Italian & German prog bands like Eloy & PFM.

Apart from all that I like Peter Greens Fleetwood Mac, Cream, John Mayall and quite a bit of early Clapton stuff.

I also like Jazz.

Springsteen, Sinatra, Squeeze, Gaslight Anthem, Stevie Wonder, most of the old Motown and Stax stuff, Elvis Costello, The Faces, The Small Faces Free...........really, I'll pretty much listen to anything

worst part is it was only dating but it felt like we were married, you know? I find that one song very fitting to his personality (he was with a new girl in less than a month)

Other than the Beatles, my very favourite groups are the Who, Jefferson Airplane, the Byrds, the Kinks, the Zombies, Love, the Yardbirds and Buffalo Springfield. I also like the Rolling Stones, the Doors, the Beach Boys, Cream, the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Bob Dylan, Traffic, the Hollies, Spirit, the Association and many other 1960's groups/artists.

Update cos I've started listening to alot of new bands and singers haha The Beatles still # 1 ofcourse but add Mika, The Smiths, MGMT, The Stone Roses, Beirut, System of a Down, Siouxsie and the Banshees and The Pixies

I've recently got into Leam Gallager's new band Beady Eye bought the new album recently and it was amazing there's even a song called 'Beatles & Stones' also got into a new singer Claire Maguire and I'm getting back into my fav Girl band Girls Aloud as I recently noticed I had a collection building up.
