I got this for my birthday last Christmas, and read it when I was staying with some relatives in Paris.
You ever finish a book and you feel it like you read it too fast? I dunno, that tends to happen when i get really into a book and I have a lot of free time on my hands, I go through it really quickly and feel like I didn't get the most out of it. But I'm kinda babbling.
Anyway, I really enjoyed it. As a lot of people have mentioned, it's at is best when it's describing the Liverpool years. But I think It's good throughout, it really gives you a feel of the kind of person he was, you're transported right into his world.
One thing I thought though, is it just me or does Norman seem to have a dislike for Paul? (In this anyway, I've yet to read "Shout!") I dunno, maybe I'm reading to much into it, it's just an impression I got.
