Title: George vs Paul (and John)

Hi, wondering if anybody could help me with some research I'm trying to do. I've been searching everywhere for a quote from Paul (or John) about how George was now writing songs that were at least as good as the Lennon-McCartney tunes, but I can't find it. I'm also trying to find evidence that Lennon-McCartney intentionally pushed some of George's songs away in favour of their own, even when they knew that George's were better.

If anybody could help me and provide me with a link to either of those things, I would be just so darn grateful!

The fact that it's obviously hard to find should mean something.
