My favorite song by them is "Look What Youve Done", that song is so good..."Take my photo off the wall if it just wont sing, for you"

I like them because of their style and such, but the song you just mentioned is such a take off of the Beatles song Sexy Sadie.

at least its not a ripoff of a rap song, or Good Charlotte or something!!! Id rather have a band take off a Beatles song than a good charlotte, or 50 cent 0r something I dont like

The piano intro also sounds like "Golden Slumbers"...and I remember watching Vh1 once, and Rachel Perry said that Jet had a song that sounded like a Beatles song , that has to be "Look What Youve Done" (sexy sadie)

Very true. Hey, does anyone else think the opening bars in "Don't Look Back In Anger" by Oasis are almost identical to Imagine?

oh, and if anyone listens to Radiohead..in the song "Karma Police"..in the "this is what you get" part of the song, the piano sounds alot like Sexy Sadie

well that just shows how good and influential the BEATLES were to bands of yesterday and today ....most have to rip them off !

I like them a lot. They are one of the handful of newer bands that I can tolerate. Hope their next album is good too.

I wonder if their name is taken from Paul's song. They are so obviously trying to sound like the Beatles. The whole song sounds like it's trying so hard to be a Beatle tune. But they're okay. I mean if you're gonna try to sound like some band, it might as well be the Beatles.

The main thing I like about them is their style and charisma. The clothes they wear are...how can I put it...well to me hot.

It's true that Jet have developed a Beatle-ish sound although a little rougher edged.

? Noel Gallagher is a huge Beatles fan.
I dont like Oasis, but he always goes on about them...he loves the music..unlike Liam.

Well, ok then perhaps I should have said Liam? He's the one with the big gob right? ;D In any case, someone in the band Oasis slagged the Beatles off quite a bit, and that's the point I was making.

I like Jet. Yes, it says on their website that they got their name from the Paul McCartney song. I like a lot of the songs that they don't play on the radio. Move On is a good.

I just got a 'Jet' DVD and it rocks. It looks to be done in a smaller venue too.
