Am I alone in enjoying What Goes On? The Beatles do country really well. The guitar work sounds great and it fits well with the album. Wait is more of a problem for me.
Can't pick a favourite - anyone of Pauls songs I guess (except Michelle, which is good, but not great.)

I agree with the guitar work on What Goes On - But I just think it's a tad stiff and doesn't really go anywhere...
That's not to say I detest it  - just if I had to choose a song that doesn't match the others, then it's What Goes On.

I love "Wait" - a fine example of Ringo's 'backwards' fills.

What exactly is a 'backwards' fill?

Who started a topic about The Beatles being homo-erotic?  ;D

A common drum fill would be from the snare to the last tom. Doing that backwards is what Al's talking about, but in different variations.

This is too hard!

Best Song: Nowhere Man / Think For Yourself  / The Word / In My Life / If I Needed Someone / Drive My Car (I love each of these equally)

Worst Song: Run For Your Life (am I the only one bothered that the singer wants to kill his girlfriend?!?!? Good grief, at least it's at the end so I can skip it.)

Run For Your Life: Yeah, John said George liked it, too. You boys can be kind of thick sometimes! *affectionately terrorizes you with a big stick*

BEST SONG: IN MY LIFE (one of Lennon's best songs!)
WORST SONG: I'M LOOKING THROUGH YOU (could have improved that one)
