Cream Reunion DVD
« on: October 21, 2005, 04:41:41 PM »

Has anyone purchased the DVD that's been released?
I've seen it on the shelves, and it looks really good ( Extra Footage + Interviews)
But priced at twenty three quid ... a little steep.
Just wondering if anyone can offer an opinion.

I managed to see some of the show on BBC4, which was surprisingly energetic - We're Going Wrong, Rolling & Tumbling, Toad etc

I have it and i think its pretty good...They don't sound the same cause they played with the gear they use now, but still good ;) The only thing missing is I Feel Free and Strange Brew! :)
I bought a Guitar World magazine a little bit before the realease of the dvd and with the cd that came with it there was footage of White Room and Badge I think...pretty cool

Can't believe Strange Brew isn't played! It's one of my favourites.
The cover & packaging look great.
I spotted Jack Bruce's Gibson (shaped like a violin) looks special.
Cheers for the feedback Lennon-Legend

I saw the Cream reunion concert on AOL Live a few weeks ago & it proves they are a one of a kind legendary rock band.

They only released three studio albums, but they are all superb and any one of them would be  great to start. Disraeli Gears is probably their most acclaimed work so perhaps you should try that. Then Wheels of Fire and Fresh Cream. You can't really go wrong though.

I think when "Cream" came on the scene there were few groups that were playing electric blues songs that just seemed to jam along forever which gave the band a certain noteriety.
