at a guess,i'd say i was 80% sure that is friar park.the gothic window behind george looks like a friar park feature, also georges' appearance looks like mid to late 1970s?he would have been living at friar park then....from around 1970-71 is when he and pattie moved there(i think).what a great pic this is.

Thanks for your comments!! ;)

Yes: it could be Friar's Park, regarding what you say about the window...

BTW: there is another B/W photo from that session, slightly different...

Pattie and George moved there in March 1970, according to Pattie Boyd herself...

Let's wait for other forum fellas hints...

Best wishes!! ;)

As far as I can see George, I'd say he's dressed in the typical style of the 70's. But maybe he was ahead of his time. Anyway, that plus the window would make it Friar Park.

That's Friar Park. Kinfauns was a 60's style bungalow.

My guess is this photo was taken 76-78 by the way George looks.

I would love to have the Strat to the left that he hand-painted and played while in the Beatles.

I made the picture a bit bigger. Looks like George in the 1980's here if you ask me. Should mean it's still in Friar's.

That is definitely not Goerge pre 1970. Remember he moved to Friar Park in Jan 1970. That is a very old looking fire surround, and those windows do not fit in with the style of Kinfauns.

Are you sure? Looks like it could be him in say 1969. Plus did he sell Kinfauns right after he moved to Friars?

The first pic is almost certain at Friar's Park. The other one is hard to tell, but assuming it is George's collection and after 1970, this too is at Friars Park.
Btw I found some other and more pictures of John playing acoustic guitar at Almeria. You still want those?
