Roberta Flack 'lets it be' with new album of Beatles songs

Calling her new album Let It Be Roberta: Roberta Flack Sings The Beatles serves a dual purpose for Grammy-winning pop legend Roberta Flack.As the title indicates, the album, released last month on 429 Records in a partnership between the label, Sony ATV Music Publishing and Flack’s RAS Records, is all Beatles songs--including the multi-format first single "We Can Work It Out." But as it also suggests, Let It Be Roberta does just that: The songs may be the The Beatles, but the performances are all Flack.
