Hello, I just want to tell that the next October 6 I will play with my George's tribute band, Harrisongs, in the Cavern Club Argentina.
We participate in the Semana Beatle de Latinoamerica (Latin american Beatle Week) and we are in the semifinals. If we pass, we will play in the event on December with others bands from all America and some guest from USA and Europe.
I will tell the news. meanwhile we are working in the show, chossing the songs (only 20 minutes)

This is so wonderful, Mr. Nelson W.!! I, and I know many others of your friends here :) will be pulling for you!!

We still chossing the songs. They evaluate the instrumental level, vocal level and the global performance. Some songs we are rehearsing are:

* Handle with care
* Between the devil and the deep blue sea

I'm not so hot on George's post Beatle career but I Want to Tell You & Old Brown Shoe are great tunes. Man, that bassline in Old Brown Shoe is a killer to play an sing at the same time! heheh

Good luck with the show! But did you consider doing a set where more than one song was soley written by George?

This band is a tribute for George, we use the name Harrisongs and we are very happy to play the music that we love.
In the others show, longer that this contest, we play 1 song of the other 3 guys.

Hi, Nelson Wilbury reporting
Good show, but with some technical problems. In one song my guitar was DEAD!!! The stage guy can't fix it until a few seconds to my solo part, so at the end we can do it fine.
The public was happy with us and many people congratulate us. The next week is the second semifinal, and then they will say the finalists.

Bad news! We are out! Like John says "I'm a loooooo-seeeeer" ha2ha
That's fine. We are happy to participe and play in front a beatle public and in a good place.
I think that they prefer Beatles tribute bands, and no solo beatle like us.
