Honestly, if I was getting married and my fiance asked me for a pre-nup, I would be incredibly insulted. I told my friend that and she said pre-nups are the practical thing to do. To me, it's horrible. You're basically assuming that it won't work out. Anyway, since I'm poor and powerless, I'd probably be the one getting screwed over. So it's my choice really.

I can totally understand Paul's reasons for not getting a pre-nuptial agreement, though. He was last married in 1969 and things like that just weren't done then. Besides, he'd get criticized for getting one at the time even more than he is now being criticized for not getting one.
