That song, especially the whistley part, led me to expect a very different sort of movie. I was surprised when I watched it but I liked it.

It was a bit...what?...darker than expected. Definitely outside the box for its time. It should be better remembered.

Yes, darker is the right word. The song made me think that Georgie would be like Marlo Thomas in "That Girl" but with low self esteem.
