Mark Sterling revives music legend

Sherwood Park's own Mark Sterling is bringing the iconic work of John Lennon to life with Songs of John at Festival Place.Lennon's song book will be reopened on Saturday, Dec. 10, at 7:30 p.m., which marks the fifth year for the popular tribute show."People who keep coming back will always see a different show and people who haven't been, we promise it's going to be a real fun night," Sterling said. "We love playing the music as much as hopefully people love hearing it... no one has gone away disappointed."The tribute began to mark the anniversary of Lennon's death on Dec. 8, 1980. Sterling will be joined by his core band, and fans can expect to hear classics from Lennon's time with The Beatles, as well as his solo work.
